 This continuing nursing education activity was approved by CNE-Net, the education division of the North Dakota Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

• The importance of hearing to learning/literacy
• The system of hearing screening in Wyoming
• Obtaining, interpreting, referring, and following up on hearing screening results (OAE, Pure-tones, Immittance, and Otoscopy)
• Medical and audiological referral and follow-up processes
• Examples/Scripts to use when counseling parents/teachers/administrators about hearing screening results
• Review of training manual/appendices
• Web-based EHDI Tracking and Surveillance System
