Hearing Screening for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers

This component targets identification of hearing loss that occurs after the newborn leaves the hospital but develops prior to entry into kindergarten (Late Onset Hearing Loss, LOHL). These screenings are available at no charge from the Child Development Centers within Wyoming. Children who fail the screenings are referred to their primary care physician or for audiological follow-up.
